The sacroiliac joint is frequently subject to injury. Because it functions differently to joints in the extremity, the approach to treatment needs to be different. To address it, an understanding of the joint mechanics is essential. So too is comprehending the role of the forces generated by sport and their effect on the joint.

The objective of this course is to boost the clinician's understanding of the SI joint and to equip them with a myriad of manual techniques to treat it. This course teaches the clinician to recognize SI conditions, to understand why this has occurred, and how to address it successfully.

In this 1-day course you will be challenged to learn a wide selection of manual intervention strategies. Expect to initiate the subtlest of palpation skills with your hands, as well as use the physicality of direct fascial release. You will manipulate the soft tissue as well as activate the nervous system. While the techniques are not strictly original, they are unique in terms of how they are purposed and how they are adapted. At the end of the course you will be equipped with a totally original approach to addressing the SI joint.
