A Clinical Mastery Program for Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs)


Course Overview


Designed specifically for Registered Massage Therapists, manual practitioners, and bodyworkers, this immersive hands-on cadaver lab bridges the gap between surface palpation and deep anatomical reality.

Traditional cadaver labs rely on rigid formaldehyde specimens that harden connective tissue. iDissect utilizes soft-embalmed human cadavers, preserving natural tissue compliance, joint range of motion, and true-to-life fascial plane mobility

Over 5 or 10 days, you will work in small, mentored groups to dissect tissue layer-by-layer. You will trace peripheral nerve entrapment pathways, explore three-dimensional myofascial continuity, evaluate joint architecture, and directly validate your clinical palpation skills under expert guidance.

Key Learning Objectives for RMTs:


3D Palpation Validation: Verify exactly what structures lie under your hands. Experience true tissue depths, muscle layer boundaries, and structural variations across donors.

Myofascial Planes & Connective Tissue Mobility: Examine real fascial glide, the three layers of the thoracolumbar fascia, and deep fascial compartments in an unfixed state.

Peripheral Nerve Pathways & Entrapments: Trace key peripheral nerves (brachial plexus, sciatic, femoral, obturator, median, radial, ulnar) relative to common clinical entrapment sites.

Joint Capsule Architecture & Biomechanics: Observe joint capsules, intra-articular ligaments, and myofascial attachments during passive range-of-motion testing.

High-Risk Anatomical Safety: Identify critical neurovascular bundles, lung pleura, and vulnerable vascular structures to refine deep-tissue safety and pressure protocols.
