Have you ever wondered about the role of the RMTAO Board of Directors, and how they’re involved in setting the RMTAO’s long-term priorities? Our Board of Directors is hosting a Meet & Greet to discuss our 2024–2027 Strategic Plan. This is your opportunity to engage with the RMTAO Board of Directors, who are responsible for financial oversight and strategic risk management. Come share your perspective and learn how your Board ensures the RMTAO remains a sustainable, influential force for RMTs.

You will have the opportunity to ask the Board any questions you may have during the event, but we also encourage you to submit questions in advance to info@rmtao.com to ensure we get to them.

We’ll be discussing important topics including:

• Where we’ll be focusing our advocacy this year and beyond.
• The role of the Board vs. the role of the Operations staff.
• How we manage the RMTAO’s finances responsibly.
• How the Board can use your feedback to guide future decisions.

The RMTAO is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The role of the RMTAO Board is to envision the future of the organization and the profession while ensuring the organizational structure is present for the vision to be achieved.

The Board of Directors provide overall strategic direction for the Association and monitor the organization’s performance towards achieving these strategic goals. The Board is also responsible for setting governing policies for the organization and establishing position statements on matters of importance impacting the profession.

Note: While our Board focuses on the 'Big Picture'—governance, finance, and our 2024–2027 Strategic Plan—our dedicated staff remains your go-to for daily operational support and member services. This event is a unique space designed specifically for high-level dialogue about our association’s direction.
