Join the RMTAO as we celebrate Massage Therapy Awareness Week with this year’s theme: Massage Therapy at Every Stage. Enjoy some refreshments, connect with fellow RMTs and members of the massage therapy community, meet RMTAO Board members, and take some time to appreciate the history and evolution of massage therapy.

Massage therapy has a long and evolving history in North America and Ontario. From its early roots and development as a therapeutic practice to the regulated profession we know today, the story of massage therapy is one of growth, change, and an ongoing commitment to patient care.

This year, we’re taking the opportunity to look back at where massage therapy has come from, explore where the profession is today, and consider where it is going next.

We invite RMTs, students, clinics, educators, and anyone interested in massage therapy to come together at this free event, learn more about the profession’s history, celebrate how far we’ve come, and look ahead to its future.
